Real Estate Photography Post
A couple of weeks ago a co-worker invited us to take photos of a friend’s apartment. This was a showroom unit and thus we had an all access pass for the rooms. Here are a couple of things learned from the experience:
- Invest in a wide angle lens. It’s handy when trying to get a corner to corner shot of a room.
- Invest in lighting. Continuous or strobe… light up the shadows of the rooms. If possible avoid wires that will string up the floors.
- Timing is key. The photos were taken mid morning which was an alright time for the photos. To get the best shots, having the lights on in the premises has a marvelous effect on the images.
