A couple of weeks ago a co-worker invited us to take photos of a friend’s apartment. This was a showroom unit and thus we had an all access pass for the rooms. Here are a couple of things learned from the experience:

  1. Invest in a wide angle lens. It’s handy when trying to get a corner to corner shot of a┬ároom.
  2. Invest in lighting. Continuous or strobe… light up the shadows of the rooms. If possible avoid wires that will string up the floors.
  3. Timing is key. The photos were taken mid morning which was an alright time for the photos. To get the best shots, having the lights on in the premises has a marvelous effect on the images.
